It all began in 1983 when four friends, inspired by a road trip to Texas, got together in Cupertino and came up with a plan to open a barbecue restaurant. It was agreed that this restaurant would feature 100% wood-fired barbecue like we had found in legendary joints like Louie Mueller BBQ in Taylor, TX and Black’s BBQ in Lockhart, TX.
After more than 40 years we have never given up trying to equal the standards of those great Texas legends. We have heard from many of our guests , including Texans, that we have done a damn good job of that!

Came back for another Too Good To Go order and was amazed again with the selection. Armadillo Willy's really gives a fair portio for the price and their staff is awesome.
I could never get enough of their mouth watering brisket sandwich.
I ordered the Cajun fries this time around and they did not disappoint.
Food always comes out quick as well.
Great spot for a larger meal in the area, especially if you’re missing your BBQ. Their brisket is juicy (although you can ask for a lean option), and paired with tater tots. They also have their own slightly spicy bbq sauce that goes well with everything.
