What can I say about The Magnolia of Millbrae? There aren't enough great words to express how wonderful The Magnolia of Millbrae actually is. The care, support, activities, entertainment, outings, and the food are all excellent! If we had not moved to another state, we would have placed my mother at The Magnolia of Millbrae. The apartments are lovely, the public areas are always decorated beautifully.
The facility is lovely - both public areas and living quarters. The food is excellent, and the staff are friendly, kind, and caring. Don't know what more one could ask for.
My 80+ year old friend moved in when she could care for herself. She had some health problems that became worse and kept her apartment bound during Covid. Accommodations were made by the Magnolia. In January my friend was struggling with medical issues, so the local hospice began working with the Wellness team at the Magnolia. My friend got superb care at the end of her life. I visited frequently and have never been in a retirement facility where every one of the staff greeted me every time I came. The staff was also unusually helpful in providing information and help.
