The owner Dan is a really cool guy. When I was a very young child my dad would metal detect and bring his finding to Jackson arms. So I’ve been going there since I was a child . I am 34 now and I still love Dan. He recently offered me around 20% more than the pawn on veterans down the road. I stop in sometimes and ask his opinion on different pieces I want to buy or sell. He’s an honest guy that gives comfort in dealing with him. He’s fair and cheerful. I go in and get my jewelry cleaned and my rings sometimes get bent and he rounds them out no problem with his tool. The thing I like most about him and his shop is the good vibes I get when I walk in. I know he will take care of me properly.
I'd gone to Jackson Square to have some minor jewelry repairs done (ie. tighten the prongs on a loose diamond, replace watch batteries, etc.) and felt like it was a solid owner-run place with good service and a long standing local reputation. When I was on the market for some diamond earrings I wasn't super comfortable buying online so I went to the shop to talk it out and figure out what I wanted. Dan was FANTASTIC! Over the course of several visits we nailed down the size, price range and quality I was looking for. I was extremely particular about the parameters of the stones I wanted and Dan delivered. I absolutely love my new jewelry. Top notch service, well-managed expectations about the process and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop. I will definitely be back!
I have had a great experience dealing with Dan at Jackson Square! Because of reviews I read, I took family antique silver and jewelry items that I no longer wanted to Dan. I found him to be courteous and honest. He was very respectful of what I brought to him whether he was interested or not. Dan is extremely knowledgable and explains without his ego being involved. I felt he gave me the best price for my items. Dan is an excellent communicator and I enjoyed our conversation and business interaction.
